Infinity Eyecare of Denver
Vision Insurance:
Vision insurance specifically is designed to address preventive and corrective measures to maintain optimal vision health. Vision Insurance typically helps with costs for routine eye exams, eyeglasses, contact lenses, and sometimes corrective surgeries. It depends on your specific insurance and your specific plan, but typically there is co-pay for the routine exam and then an additional one if you wear contact lenses for the fitting and contact lens exam. Your insurance then typically has benefits related to frames, lenses and contact lenses.
Vision Insurance we accept: VSP, Eyemed, Cigna Vision, Aetna Vision, and Spectera (United Healthcare)
Note: Many of these vision insurance companies contract with other insurances (such as Aetna with VSP), we are happy to help look up your insurance if you are unsure if you are in-network!
Medical Insurance:
Medical insurance in relation to eye care usually is related to eye emergencies or injuries such as corneal abrasions, retinal detachments or foreign object removal. Medical insurances may cover some comprehensive exams for qualifying diagnosis such as cataracts, glaucoma or diabetes but rarely cover materials such as glasses or contact lenses.
Medical Insurance we accept: United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Cigna and Medicare
